Summary: AU beginning during the months between Seasons 5 and 6. Tara is just your typical college student at UC Sunnydale. Or at least, she’s trying hard to be…until a series of strange dreams of a mysterious, suffering stranger begin to haunt her nights. When this stranger unexpectedly crosses her path, he will draw her down a road she never expected, toward a love and a future she never thought she’d find.

Notes: This story will span the course of a very AU Season 6, as Tara gradually uncovers the secrets of Spike’s tormented past amidst events very different from canon Season 6. At the beginning of this story, Tara has not met Willow or the rest of the Scoobies, and though it has been several months since Buffy’s death, the Scoobies have not yet planned to raise the Slayer from the dead. Also, for the purposes of this story and the ‘ship it involves, Tara is heterosexual. J

Set in a very different world, where Buffy didn’t come back from the dead, and Willow didn’t survive the resurrection attempt.

This is written for my LJ pal caegey who requested Spike/Tara, R or NC-17, with the keywords "aspidistra" and "bootylicious". *giggles* I hope I did 'em justice! :D I always felt that Tara was very confident around Spike, very strong. So here I imagine them in an AU Season 4 where Tara's met Spike instead of Willow. Fingers crossed it works.

Valentine's Day Spike/Tara friendship set right smack dab in the middle of S6.

A/N: I know they played Older and Far Away right before Valentine's, but Buffy's birthday is supposed to be in January, I believe. Therefore, this little ficlet takes place after OAFA, but something like a month later, and before As You Were.

Set shortly after The Lonely Hearts Club. Tara drags Spike along with her on a school assignment, and learns something about him.

Useless Desires ~R A slightly darker fic than my usual fare. Spike leaves Sunnydale after the events of a slightly altered "Seeing Red," returning five years later to find things have drastically changed. (If you're not at least 17, read at your own risk.) *Complete*

A Spike/Tara romance, in which they are assisted by an unlikely, sneaky, and frequently whiny Cupid. This starts sometime after "Normal Again" and partway through "Entropy," but the timeline is scrambled as the story starts to go AU. Tara has been interrupted on her way to see Willow. And she is in time to interrupt someone else, who is on his way to perform a different errand.

(The category for this was Best Spara, but it was just runner-up.  I didn't see a way to classify that.) 

Oh, and Spike suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder. It's not as goofy as it sounds, I promise.
