Just Rewards

Dawn’s wish to Halfrek is quite different from canon and may wind up being the best gift Buffy receives for her birthday, even if it is late in the receiving.
Setting: S6 and begins to go AU at “Older and Far Away” (written by Drew Z. Greenberg).

An experiment in writing this pairs entries from Buffy's journal/diary with notes from Spikes journal at the same time period. There are eight pairs from various time periods and seasons of the series.

Buffy has an epiphany while arguing with Giles over Spike. Will her date with Robin Wood further muddle things between the Slayer and her insecure vampire? Will her words undo the damage already done? Can a bit of honesty change their path?
Setting: S7 Beginning of “First Date” and AU from there

Spike has more than a bit of time on his hands there in Buffy’s basement and more poetry in his newly restored soul than poor William ever imagined. Idle minds lead to musings and idle hands can lead to bad poetry.

This drabble is set in the alley near the end of Fool For Love.  Spike and Buffy have always been engaged in a dance but not all dances are joyful for both partners.

S4 during “Something Blue.”
Summary: What if there were a residual attraction after Willow’s spell?  What if that attraction were real? What would a witch do to make it right?  Once more, someone else decides what is best for the Slayer.

S7 the night before the final battle in “Chosen”
Summary: A bit of angst.  Just why might Spike have doubted Buffy’s declaration of love in the cave?  Why might he have had reason to be afraid to hunt her down after his return?  Just what DID happen that last night?  Here be angst.

Summary: Yup, it’s a reunion fic.  All the Scoobies have an idea of how it’s going to go, but who really knows Buffy well enough to be certain?

Setting: S7
Summary: Just before the battle against the First Evil, Buffy decides not to let anything wait too long where her two vampires are concerned.  How it could have gone if Buffy had managed to face her biggest danger:  her own emotions.

Given a chance to do things differently a hero finds that putting another first and ignoring his own desires can lead to his rewards beyond his hopes.

Ficlet with Spike mention.  PWP of a reconnection of bestest friends Willow and Buffy after Chosen.  Clearly Buffy hasn't moved on from our favorite vamp but a girl has needs.

Spike gives Buffy a valuable lesson

There’s a glitch using those Ghorah eggs as a surprising result develops from Dawns attempt to bring back her mother. Those developments both thrill and horrify Spike as the scoobies and Buffy discover the man behind the mask. Can a mothers love heal and bind or should the past be left in the grave?

Setting: Season 5 mid episode "Forever" going AU from there. Liberal changes made to the ritual Dawn uses for the resurrection spell.

The summer after "The Gift", Spike learns something more than just Buffy has been missing from his life when a missing piece of his past comes back.

Summary: The battle against the Senior Partners brought our heroes to the alley against hordes of demons. This story assumes much more was going on in the back rooms of W & H, things that lead to a group rescue effort that will involve almost all the BtVS and AtS main characters in one epic battle against evil.

The hellmouth is closed and they've kinda won, so why is Buffy griefstricken? While traveling cross country, Buffy deals with losing Spike while gaining her chance at a "normal life".

I've been wanting to address that moment when Buffy ran like she was rocket launched from the open grave in OMWF...here is my take on it. PG

Angst, but not as bad as Joss gave us.

set in the timeframe of AtS S5 (Approximately 1 year post Chosen). Buffy has decided she is ready to commit to a real and lasting relationship. Her cookies are baked and ready to serve. All canon up to Damaged episode of AtS S5 but it is unnecessary to have viewed any or all. Story goes AU from that point.
